I have a big love for throw pillows, so when I found this old feedsack quilt at goodwill and didn’t know what to do with it, I decided I would sew it into a quick pillow.
Materials: Old quilt (or make your own!), pillow stuffing, sewing machine (or hand sew), needle and thread for ending.
1. My original quilt was pretty small, so i cut it in half and then matched up the two ends to make this pillow.
2. Sew three sides together inside out, and most of the fourth side, but leave enough space so you can get your arm and stuffing inside. Flip out through your opening.
4. I looked up a video for an “invisible ladder stitch” that made ending the pillow look like it had been sewn inside out all the way around, but you could also use a whipstitch.
Done! Enjoy your big comfy pillow!
